Piazzolla Tango

Piazzolla Tango Show amazes audiences with outstanding performances of traditional and stage tango. The theater Piazzolla is a jewel in itself and of the most beautiful theaters in the city. The evening also includes a free, optional tango lesson.

Piazzolla tango show combines the best of traditional tango with stage tango. It combines glamour with respect for tradition. The performances are visually enchanting, with stage tango and also de display of tango "to de floor", meaning a more intimate dance, with the feet "brushing" the floor and creating soft arabesques. The traditional tango band of six musicians delights with the excellent execution of the renowned Astor Piazzolla, as well as a wide repertoire of very well-known tangos classics that the amateur connoisseur will recognize fondly. 

They are highly experimented musicians, committed to their art, with utmost respect with the styles of the different orchestras that created such beautiful music. Before dinner and the show, you can join the FREE, optional tango lesson offered by the same dancers performing later at the show.

Two singers skilfully perform the lyrics of these classic songs, in their solo and duet performances.

The Piazzolla theater is a hidden gem in the heart of one of the city´s oldest galleries. The dance hall is beautyful decorated in golden tones and red velvet. It is literally a treasure rescued from the Belle Époque of Buenos Aires.

The menu is the perfect complement to the evening. It includes classic Argentine dishes, including meats and empanadas. All of this is followed by an exquisite and elaborated choices of desserts.
